Sukosan


With 2500 inhabitans, located 11 kilometres southeast from the town of Zadar, Sukosan is placed in the middle of the Croatian Adriatic coast as spacious and quiet place, with long coastline, nice beaches and numerous intimate bays from the Zlatna Uvala to the natural complex of Tustica. Fertile ground covered with olive trees and vineyards, stretches straight to the sea.


Sukosan is rich in nice sand beaches. It has all the particularities, as traditional narrow roads and natural promenades along the coastline. Lot of festivities and cultural manifestations happen during the year, especially in the summer season.


There is a Marina Dalmatia, the biggest marina on the Adriatic sea, between places Bibinje and Sukosan. It has 70000 square meters on land and the sea and 900 permanent cruisers moored, with the full capacity of 1400 moorings, high quality equipped. It is the main base for those that visit Kornati archipelago with the yacht and cruisers of the Zadar archipelago.
